London Design Festival 2012
18 - 22 september 2012 2grams and Contaminazioni are coming together to transform their hand-picked ingredients, objects and tools and give them a new existence through experimental processes, techniques and designs. 19 - 21 september 12 - 8 pm 22 september 10 am - 6 pm Time for Tea 110 Shoreditch High Street London 2grams Two friends, two passions, two cultures: this is 2grams. Nicola Di Costanzo and Telli Nourkeyhani met while studying graphic design and realised they not only shared skills in design, but they were both good at making food and having fun. Nicola was brought up amongst the masterful skills of his family's pastry business in Italy; while Telli's Iranian upbringing developed her love of feeding others and seeing the buzz that good food creates. The name 2grams represents the tiny, yet vital details that bring together the perfect result - integral to both baking and graphic design. Their events offer a tasteful treat for the senses, turning a sweet fix into an multisensory experience. Together, 2grams brings people together to have fun, feed the soul, and bake some noise. www.2grams.co.uk contaminazioni CTZ is a collaboration incubator whereby different creative professionals co-design objects, temporary spaces and exhibitions willing to tell a story. Exploring themes of economic and cultural sustainability, CTZ produces tangible and intangible products that cross disciplines and forms of knowledge. Contaminazioni is the life-project of Antonio Cesare Iadarola, multidisciplinary designer. www.contaminazioni.co.uk credits: photographs by Miyuki Yamanaka - www.m-y-pics.com video by Daniel Fazio - www.danielfazio.com for ÉLAN VITAL material design: sa.und.sa. within Toccata & Fuga project. design makers: Marco Riccardo & Sergio Treglia - fb Producthesign text: Marcella Leone - www.marcellaleone.tumblr.com photography: Flora Deborah - www.floradeborah.com material soruching, WIP photography: Alessandro Iadarola for 2grams web design: Matteo Aliotta - www.matteoaliotta.com with special thanks to: Roberto Marchese, Claire Nelson, Marco Nottola, Paola Tuccillo, Miyuki Yamanaka and Piero Zagami |
